I love your newsletters of course- have been a reader for years now ;) I do have an issue I could use some expert advice on.... Since my BF and I have been together, we have had AWESOME sex!! He takes me to levels that I have never ever been before. He has turned me into a squirter... at times I just what I call gush but then when I get really fired up I squirt quite well.

My question revolves around this.... it seems like the only time that I can squirt is when I really really push out when I am getting ready to cum. That is where the problem lies.... one day when we were making love he was performing oral on me (That's the best way to make me squirt) and I was pushing so hard that it sounded like I was farting. Although I
know I wasn't farting, he commented on it- embarrassed me. Ever since then I am very self conscious when he is down there. I have explained to him what is going on, because he noticed I wasn't squirting as much. He told me to let it rip, but I just cant seem to do it..... how can I get there without being concerned that I am going to fart in his face? lol

-I hope you haven't had so much sex that you forget that during the actual sex, air can in fact find its way into the vagina. It's known as a "queef". At least, that's what my fiance calls it. Air gets trapped inside and as the orgasm "boils" its way out of you, the air is compressed and has to go---and go it does. Out. And, since you have described that you are pushing, you can be sure that it wasn't a fart that escaped or your boyfriend would have said something.

You said you're a squirter and gusher. Impressive! Your "area" has been equipped with a bunch of love juices and you can't seem to give enough. At the same time, you're also collecting little bits of air and if it does come out, it does sound like a fart, but I can guarantee you that it isn't one. It's just the air being compressed and coming out. And if it came from your vagina, your boyfriend will be suddenly overwhelmed with the scent of you--the best possible way to assault both his tongue and nose at the same time.

While I can see it being offensive to fart during sex (it can be a real mood killer), it was even more offensive for your boyfriend to simply let the comment "rip" out of his mouth without taking the time to think about what YOU think about farting during sex. Guys (myself included) just have potty humor when it comes everything in life. It can be a contest to see who can "cut the loudest one". Also, while it could be "excused" as just a guy thing to like farts, it is NOT a guy thing to say something without thinking.

You shouldn't have to push as hard to expel (or squirt) as you would to have a bowel movement, but if you have any built up gas, there's a chance it will release when you push.

His comments of "LET IT RIP" should let you know that he's not offended in the least by any sounds your body is making if he's making you cum.

Our bodies make all kinds of noises and some people are embarrassed by QUEEFING as well, which happens when too much air is pumped into the vagina during sex ... often times in the doggie style position.

Many women can't squirt, don't squirt or have never attempted to. Your man is most certainly THRILLED that you can and do. Don't let being a little embarrassed over your normal body sounds take away from something you both enjoy together!

I would suggest a good waterproof mattress cover! :-)
