Recently some girls at work  were talking about shaving "down there". They all said they do, some shave more hair off than others, but they spoke like not shaving down there would turn off their husbands/partners.  I have never done this, other than shaving my bikini line in the summer time.  My partner likes to go down on me all the time.

I asked him about shaving down there and he said he wouldn't want me to unless I wanted to.... in other words he did not want me to do it for him.  He said that he had heard that it increased the sensations a woman would have when a man was
down there. Is this his way of telling me he wants me to?

I would try it and would certainly do it if it was something he
enjoyed. Our love...making life is great, but if I  can make it more enjoyable for him in any way I would do it!

I also  don't want to take the time to keep it shaved (I have 2 kids, a full time job and not enough time to shave my legs more than once a week as it is!) if he  really doesn't care one way or the other. I also think it would itch terribly  if you didn't keep it that way. Please tell me what most men prefer. I would  be willing to try it if he will like it.

I recommend that you "trim" it with a hair trimmer or scissors
instead of doing the full shave - at least at first.  Some men  are put off by the "little girl" look of it being completely hairless but  most of us at least like to have a better look/feel/access at everything there without a huge mound of tangly hair in the way.

So, I think a very short cut instead of a shave will serve both of you well, which you can simply trim every month or so pretty easily. Then you can experiment with other styles later on.
